Mission Statement
The Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® exists to facilitate members’ ability and opportunity to conduct their business ethically and competently. We accomplish this mission by being the primary resource for members’ education, communication, technology, legal information and services and by advocating the use and transfer of real property.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
The general objectives are derived from the Mission Statement and are the identification of broad results that the Association intends to achieve on behalf of its members. The General Objectives are not listed by order of priority.

- To develop an effective legislative and regulatory effort to assure the freedom and ability of RIAR members to conduct their business.
- To promote competency, integrity, and fair business practice on the part of its members.
- To provide a proper mix of education programs and services, to remain competitive in the market place, and to increase the productivity of its members.
- To develop and implement a timely and accurate communications system to insure the Association base an informed constituency and to promote stronger and more effective relationships with professional organizations, community groups, business and industry.
