The following changes to RIAR Forms will be sent to Instanet, dotloop, and zipLogix on Friday, June 15, 2018.
Rhode Island Real Estate Sales Disclosure
- Pools & Equipment – added an “Any Defects” space for a seller to list known defects about a pool and equipment to comply with Rhode Island law.
- Radon – replaced “structure” with “property” in this sentence so that a seller can disclosure known radon in the land or water: “Has property been tested for radon?”
Sale of Personal Property Agreement
Notice – added the following notice to the top of the form to remind REALTORS® not to send this form to the buyer’s lender: “NOTICE: This is a stand-alone document and should not be attached to the Purchase and Sales Agreement.
