RI REALTORS stop in-person meetings/events/classes through April 30th – Updated March 24, 2020
Classes: In response to the growing public health concern regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® (RIAR) & State-Wide MLS are taking the precautionary step of cancelling in-person professional development classes onsite at the RI REALTORS® Professional Development Center at 100 Bignall Street in Warwick beginning Monday, March 16th through April 30th. The RI REALTORS Professional Development Center will be offering many classes through live video. Details to come.
If you are currently scheduled to attend or have a RIAR co-op class at your local association or brokerage during the March 16th through April 30th timeframe, you will be hearing directly from RIAR Professional Development staff with options.
Please remember that the RI REALTORS® Professional Development Center offers a variety of online classes for those wishing/needing to avoid public spaces which can be found on RIRealtors.org. (Please be aware that the RI REALTORS® Professional Development Center will only maintain member records for online courses registered through the RI REALTORS® online partner portals found on this link.)
Meeting and Events: Starting Monday, March 16th through the end of April, any events or committee/taskforce meetings at the RI REALTORS® headquarters will now be held virtually via Zoom or conference call. If you are currently registered for an event or scheduled for a meeting during this period, you will receive additional information as it is available. You may also check RIRealtors.org/covid19 for updated information. We will continue to provide additional announcements as we decide whether future events should be postponed, live-streamed or cancelled.
