The extended license renewal deadline has passed. If any of your licensees failed to renew, please read the following:
The MLS Broker/Appraiser Participant is responsible for:
- Verification that each licensee affiliated with the brokerage has a license in good standing with the licensing bureau at the beginning of each renewal term (Section 2.4 of Commercial Licensing. Regulation 11 – RI Department of Business Regulations)
- The prompt notification to MLS of any licensee that has not renewed their license and has left your office.
For failure to verify and maintain active, valid and current licenses for individuals affiliated with Participant , a fine of $50 per offense may be assessed to the Participant. For failure to maintain a current, valid real estate or appraisal license, a fine of $50 per offense may be assessed to the Subscriber.
NOTE: Active listings in MLS belonging to a Participant with an expired license will be withdrawn.
The submission of the MLS Subscriber Authorization Form for licensee disaffiliations is mandatory to stop the billing of licensee fees to your office. Download/Print Subscriber Authorization Form
