Due to a number of circumstances, there are times when an office may need to change their firm name or MLS office code.
In the event that your office wishes to change the firm name that is registered with State-Wide MLS, the Designated Broker must first complete a “REPLACEMENT Agreement to Participate“, which would include the new name. To change the code associated with your firm, the Designated Broker must submit their request in writing, which will then be confirmed by staff prior to completion.

There is no cost assigned to the change of a firm’s name, but since an office’s code is integrated with their listing inventory and history, there is an administrative fee of $250.
