Brokers and Managers: Who is responsible for paying for fees and advertising costs in your office?   Who holds the copyright to photos, videos, etc.?  What prevents a salesperson from taking clients and listings when leaving your office?  Do you have safety procedures to protect your licensees?   How about a social media policy to protect your company’s reputation?   Are your salespeople employees or independent contractors? The answers to these questions should be found in your office policies.   If your policies are collecting dust somewhere or you never seem to find the time to adopt any, the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® Education and Risk Management Committees invites you to attend this free program, “Create Office Policies That Work.” The presentation will cover the following:

  • What office policies you are legally required to have.
  • Free resources to create or update your office policies.
  • Practical tips from fellow brokers about the benefits of office policies and how to train your office to use them.
  • Questions and answer period.

Who Should Attend?  Principal brokers and managers plus one from your office.  While this program is designed for principal brokers and managers, RI REALTORS® is planning to hold a similar program for all members later this year.
