As announced at the Association Executives Institute last month, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) is updating the iconic REALTOR® logo, as well as the NAR logo, which is anchored by the REALTOR® block R. The REALTOR® logo is the visual embodiment of our brand and has built tremendous brand equity, which is leveraged across the globe. Evolving the REALTOR® logo required keeping the equity and recognition of the current bold, powerful and trusted trademark, while modernizing it to meet the realities of today’s marketplace and also signal where the organization is headed. After 45 years, even an iconic brand needs an evolution to better represent our multi-faceted members and REALTOR® organization. We’ve referred to the new logo as a “new dimension”, which reflects an organization that has become more dynamic, fast-moving, member-centric and future focused. The result of a yearlong process with a prominent design firm, as well as a member sounding board and the support of NAR’s Leadership Team, we are proud to unveil the new logos here:
