There's a lot of confusion around evictions in Rhode Island. Homes RI, managed by the Housing Network of Rhode Island, has recently refreshed their evictions and CDC moratorium FAQs. Both landlords and tenants are encourages to visit the Safe Harbor program at United Way of Rhode Island online or call 211 for details. These funds may not be available after December—that is unclear until further action is taken by Congress. It is important to apply for assistance before the end of December. There are now reduced documentation requirements to be approved for assistance.
