The Office of Housing and Community Development is in the process of updating the Landlord Tenant Handbook as a result of legislation which is now law, that the Rhode Island Association of Realtors filed.   This will be a great benefit for those REALTORS who are property managers, rental agents, landlords, and investors. 

The Office has posted a draft that was created by the RI Center for Justice and is accepting public comments.  

• Written comments can be sent to Nicholas Freeman at [email protected] until 2/29/24.
• A public meeting will be held at the end of January 2024 in to receive feedback and comments on the draft document.  Additional details will be forthcoming.
