Governor Dan McKee and Housing Secretary Deborah Goddard have announced the Housing 2030 Entry Level Homeownership Program, through which the Executive Office of Housing (EOH) is hereby allocating up to $20 million dedicated to affordable homeownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income households.
The Housing 2030 Entry Level Homeownership Program strives to create this opportunity for households that otherwise have not had access to this crucial means of increasing household prosperity and intergenerational wealth.
The Office recognizes that some program elements are new and will require innovative approaches by developers – and that some worthy projects will need some time to come to fruition. As such, we are limiting funds available in Round 1 to $10 million. The EOH will update potential applicants on the remaining funds available prior to each future funding round. The Housing 2030 Entry Level Homeownership program is a competitive grant program.
Applications for Round 1 open February 5th and responses are due by 4:00pm on Friday, April 10th. Applications must be submitted through the state’s Euna grant portal and applicants who have not previously used the portal will have to create an account.
An information session will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at 10am via zoom, and recorded for those who are unable to attend. The zoom information is available below.
Questions on the RFP may be sent to [email protected]. Potential applicants are encouraged to wait to send questions until after the zoom info session.
