Josh McGinn of Putnam, Connecticut, has been named Director of Professional Development at the Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RI REALTORS). In his new role, he will oversee the development and delivery of educational programming for the 6,000-member trade association, as well as education programs for consumers.

McGinn brings 25 years of experience in the real estate industry to the position, having held a variety of roles at RI REALTORS® and State-Wide Multiple Listing Service. Throughout his tenure, he has played an instrumental role in advancing key initiatives at the Association. Most recently, as Projects Manager, he led the adoption and implementation of new technologies, including eLearning development tools, applications, and digital learning platforms.

McGinn has earned both a Leadership Excellence Certificate and a Business Excellence Certificate from Bryant University, as well as the At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) certification from the National Association of Realtors.

As Director of Professional Development, McGinn will develop and oversee state-approved continuing education curriculum as well as non-credit learning opportunities, including classes, webinars and events for real estate professionals. He will also develop consumer-focused programming designed to help buyers, sellers and renters better understand and navigate the real estate process.
