Karen is a broker in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is the owner and managing broker at Abbott Properties LLC, a boutique brokerage offering residential, commercial and business brokerage. She holds a BS in Urban Resource Development. She earned her JD in 1983 and retired from the practice of law in 2015. She is active in the real estate community and served as the 2022 President of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisers Board of Realtors. She was awarded the 2023 Realtor of the Year award by RICABOR. She previously served as Vice Chair of the Narragansett Historic District Commission. She and her husband are the parents of three accomplished children and the proud grandparents of two boys.
