Lead Paint Course

RIAR offers an HRC-approved Lead Poisoning/Lead Hazard Mitigation course that fulfills the RI Department of Business Regulations requirement for anyone trying to obtain a RI Salesperson, RI Broker License, or RI Reciprocal License ONLY.  Once licensed, this class can be taken to count as 3 CORE towards RI license renewal.  This course does not fulfill the RI Landlord requirement. In this 3-hour course, learn how you can deal with lead paint issues that affect the real estate transaction, legislation that activated the need for a lead paint law and current regulations; where lead paint is most commonly found and the health effects of lead paint, and the testing methods.

eLearning Course 

Cost: $35.00

Accessible in the RI REALTORS® Virtual Learning Center, you can enroll and take the class at your convenience with this pre-recorded class. Once you have purchased the course you have no more than 365 days to complete and obtain at least a 70% passing grade. If you do not pass, you have the option to retake the test.
