Warwick, R.I. -- November 10, 2025 – Crystal D’Agostino of Coventry, Rhode Island was recently selected as the 2025 Rhode Island Realtor of the Year. She was one of five local Realtor Association award recipients, all candidates for the statewide honor awarded annually by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.
A lifelong Rhode Islander, she has worked in or around real estate and property management since childhood, starting in her family’s rentals. Today she is the broker/owner of Start Realty in West Warwick. Since the successful flip of their first home roughly fifteen years ago, she and her husband Chris have acquired 20 rental units in the local market. Most recently, they’ve branched out into real estate syndications, with ownership interests in a total of 208 rental units across multiple states.
Since joining the Realtor Association in 2009, D’Agostino has held numerous committee and leadership positions at all levels of the Realtor organization including past president of the Kent Washington Association of Realtors, the 2026 Vice President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors and a director on the National Association’s Board of Directors. She also serves on the National Association’s Small Brokers Committee.
Other accomplishments include completion of Bryant University’s Business and Leadership Excellence Certificate programs and the Housing Opportunity Partnership Education Certification. She has achieved the Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Certified Military Residential Specialist designations and is also Commercial and Investment Real Estate Certified. She is licensed in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

In addition to her many endeavors, D’Agostino is actively involved in Foster Forward, an organization that supports foster children and families throughout Rhode island. She is also a regular participant in South County Habitat for Humanity team builds.
Other contenders for the 2025 statewide award were local board winners, Paul Harrison of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board or Realtors, John Dolan of the Greater Providence Board, Garrett Mancieri of the Northern Rhode Island Board, and Kathryn Donovan of the Newport County Board. Prior to being named Rhode Island Realtor of the Year, D’Agostino was chosen as the recipient of the 2025 Realtor of the Year Award by members of the Kent-Washington Association of Realtors.
