Michael Pereira Named 2026 President of R.I. Association of REALTORS

The Rhode Island Association of Realtors announced its new slate of 2026 officers. Michael Pereira of June Realty in Providence, R.I. will lead the 6000-member organization as President.

A Realtor for the past 22 years, Pereira has served as treasurer, president-elect and president of the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, and as a board director and member of the executive team of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. In addition, he has served on the board of directors of the National Association of Realtors and on numerous committees at the local, state and national levels. He was elected by his peers as Rhode Island Realtor of the Year in 2022 for his contributions to the Realtor organization and support of several civic and charitable causes.

“Mike is respected by all who know him. He’s a born leader whose dedication to his profession is unmatched. We’re fortunate to have him at the helm in the coming year and look forward to working with him in navigating and prospering through the changes evolving in our industry,” said Philip Tedesco, CEO of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.

Pereira is a graduate of the RI Realtors Bryant University Excellence in Leadership Certificate Program and has earned the National Association of Realtors Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) and At Home With Diversity (AHWD)certifications, as well as the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), ePro, Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) , Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and GREEN designations. He resides in Woonsocket, R.I. with his wife Susan.

RI Realtors also announced that Sandi Warner of Warner Realty Group will serve as 2026 President-Elect, Crystal D’Agostino of Start Realty will serve as Vice President and Rhonda Mesenbourg of the Alpern and Mesenbourg team at Keller Williams Coastal as 2026 Secretary/Treasurer. Past President Chris Whitten is also a member of the leadership team. The new officers assume their posts this week.
