Today, the MLS Board of Directors voted to remove the language in our Rules and Regulations that restricted distribution of Coming Soon listings via IDX, VOW, and third-party websites.
This update reflects State-Wide MLS’s ongoing commitment to providing brokers with greater flexibility in marketing their listings while maintaining transparency, cooperation, and compliance across the marketplace.
What this means to you…
Effective Tuesday, May 26th, Coming Soon listings will be made available in data feeds as controlled by the same Matrix’ fields used to syndicate active listings:

Important steps for you to take BEFORE May 26th…
Please check the settings on your existing Coming Soon listings before May 26th. By default, these listings WILL be fed unless you change the above referenced settings to ‘No.’
NOTE: If you change your settings to ‘No’ you will need to make sure you go back into the listing once it becomes Active and change the settings back to ‘Yes’ should you want to feed your listing out of the MLS.
Updated Coming Soon Submission Form…
To make sure you have captured your sellers’ wishes regarding the display and distribution of Coming Soon listings, we have inserted into the Coming Soon Submission form the same internet and display advertising authorization language appearing in the MLS Exclusive Listing Agreements. You can view the updated form here.
