Utilizing MLS listing data from Matrix into an existing site

Some State-Wide MLS Members already have taken advantage of Internet marketing by having robust websites created by professional web developers to hopefully capture the growing population of web-based consumers. Since framed solutions do not always fit well within an existing site’s conceptual design, Members are allowed to incorporate certain ‘raw’ listing data into their site’s design scheme. Although re-typing this data is an option, an easier method is to export the data from Matrix using that system’s inherent custom report and spreadsheet utilities into their site.

Benefit – high customization solution.
Negative – User must continually export updated data to comply with IDX policies, advanced technical knowledge needed, resource-intensive – possible high costs related to the integration of the data by a web developer

Utilizing MLS listing data into an existing site using Web API via Trestle or Bridge

RI State-Wide MLS is now using Trestle & Bridge to manage data access & billing. Vendors wishing to obtain data access for IDX, VOW or Back-office projects will need to create an account with Bridge or Trestle, select the data type and complete the required agreement located within the selected portal. Vendors be billed for all data access by Bridge or Trestle.  Agents & Brokers should consult with their Vendor regarding fees. Data delivered from either source is RESO Data Dictionary and Web API compliant meeting the NAR standards.
