Joining MLS as a New Subscriber
Required Applications for all New Subscribers (Licensees)
- Subscriber Authorization Form (signed by principal broker/manager)
- Review and sign Subscriber Agreement Form (signed by licensee/subscriber)
- A copy of Subscriber/Licensee’s Real Estate license
All required documents can be scanned and e-mailed directly to MLS at [email protected] or faxed to MLS Customer Service at 401-941-5320.
Fees for New Subscribers
One-Time Activation: $125.00
Monthly Fee: $35.00/mo
The RI MLS does not bill licensees (Subscribers) directly and so encourages your participation in the automatic payment of your MLS fees. This facilitates timely payments, circumvents the accumulation of late fees, and prevents suspension of MLS service to the office for past due invoices. Member invoices are paid each month in advance of billing to the office. Autopayments can be set up by logging into the Gateway and clicking on the "Your Account" tile. You can securely add your credit card information to your account by clicking on the menu icon in the upper right corner, selecting MLS Services, and clicking the "Manage Credit Card Info" link. Once the Subscriber application is submitted to MLS, within 48 hours, the new Subscriber/Licensee will receive their MLS ID and Password along with instructions on logging in for the first time and information on free MLS Classes. If you do not receive an e-mail within 48 hours, please contact MLS Customer Service.
Free Training for MLS Subscribers
There is no mandatory class for New Subscribers/Licensees, however, MLS strongly encourages all new members to attend the New Agent – Intro to MLS Class as well as the Basic Hands-On Matrix Class. These classes are held in the MLS Computer Lab on the ground floor of the RIAR building at 100 Bignall Street in Warwick.
